Jeremy Gryst established Gryst Photo in 2009. He is a fashion, commercial, wedding and lifestyle photographer based in Byron Bay, Australia.
Jeremy graduated in the top 1% of all University graduates in any field for his Master of Digital Media from the University of Adelaide, after receiving a Bachelor of Design and a Bachelor of Architecture. For a decade he worked as an architect for some of Australia’s leading architectural firms, a Design Specialist for the Government Architect, an Urban Design Consultant for a Capital City Council, as well as a digital media lecturer, all whilst honing his skills moonlighting as a professional fashion and beauty photographer.
He forged his reputation in fashion and commercial photography working on assignments for such respected clients as Australia’s Next Top Model, Tag Heuer, Thrills, Snkrlbr Swim, Independent Skate Co, Wrangler, One Teaspoon and Sabre Eyewear. He also regularly shoots in the studio for brands such as Billabong Womens, RVCA, and Surf Dive and Ski. Jeremy has also worked on shoots with celebrities such as Olivia Newton-John, Celeste Barber, Chris Hemsworth, Lorna Jane, Rose Byrne, and Stephanie Gilmore.
Jeremy is also the Byron Bay photographer for Life Without Andy and has shot events for Stab Mag, Afends and the AFL to name a few.
Jeremy has been extensively published in reputable magazines such as Monster Children, Cosmopolitan, Sticks & Stones Agency, C-heads, Acclaim, Arsenic and Off The Rails.
